Boyshorts are as practical as they are cheeky

The best thing to happen to intimate clothing and sexy lingerie since French knickers, boyshorts are a relatively recent experiment in making your buttocks look fantastic. Also called boyshorts or a boy-leg-briefs, these knickers are designed with a longer leg (leg opening rests at the start of the thigh) and a lower riding waistline (at or below the hip), resembling men’s underwear.

They provide comfort together with a sexy insinuation, and eliminate panty lines in the bargain. You may find them referred to as boyshort panties, boy’s cut, booty shorts, or tap panties, but boyshorts is what they’re most commonly called. Women who have wanted to avoid panty-lines while wearing a full panty would formerly have had to resort to the previously mentioned French knickers.

They do the trick, but they go down to cover the top of the thighs and only really work if you’re going for a retro-look. Women who didn’t insist on a full panty could solve the problem of panty-lines by wearing thongs. Thongs are sexy, and also get rid of panty lines but aren’t anywhere near as comfortable as boyshorts. Boyshorts, on the other hand, are a fresh take on the problem. Sexy, simple, and at the same time so deliciously cute, your hardest problem will be choosing a pair.

The newly popular boy shorts, also called French knickers, are made from stretchy mesh, lace or cotton and often cut to leave no visible panty line. They can look like an abbreviated, clingy version of 1920s tap pants or like a frilly men’s brief. For example, the Chantelle Africa Boyshort, from the exciting new Africa Line, features subtle exotic details that make it easy to love.

The comfort and fit of this Africa Shorty ensure stylish women look and feel fabulous.

Boyshorts are as practical as they are cheeky, and you won’t go wrong with adding a pair, or five, to your lingerie wardrobe. They are the best solution when you want to eliminate panty-lines without compromising comfort, or sexiness.

A lot of women love boyshorts, which despite their name are rather sparse, making for a cheeky look. They are a relatively new, but increasingly popular style of lingerie among women and are named for their similarity in looks to men’s knit boxer shorts, which themselves are a variation on traditional boxer shorts. Some even resemble men’s briefs, complete with fly and contrast trim. Unlike men’s briefs, however, this style is usually lower cut, and is designed to fit and flatter a woman’s figure.

One luxury lingerie brand that always seems to be in the news is Myla. Whether it is stories about their Christmas lingerie corset or models working around a shopping center in Myla lingerie. They certainly do believe in publicity.

myla

The company Myla is in fact two London designers namely Charlotte Semler and Nina Hampson. They had their first store in Notting Hill which opened in 1999. They actually teamed their lingerie in that store with a selection of bedroom toys which ultimately turned out to be a good market move. They then set up a franchise in Mrs Selfridges and opened further stores around London.

Unless you have been living on a planet for the last few months then you will know that corsets are the latest lingerie range, whether you wear them as under or outer wear. There is a wide range available on the market but you need to know before you purchase, that any cheap corset is not going to look good and will end up in the back of your wardrobe.

Agent Provocateur corset

A corset needs to be properly made by a corset maker in order to achieve the desired shape that you are hampering after.  Always check with the lingerie salesperson who the designer is. My top two designers for corsets are Madame Sher and Agent Provocateur however do be sure to shop around as there are designers that take the business of corsets very seriously.

Another handy tip is to be sure that the corset is appropriate for the occasion. Wearing a black and red llingerie up corset to your new nephews christening will probable find you banned from  family get together’s for ever. Corsets really are for evening wear down a busy club or rocking bar.  Check out this video for some hints and tips on how to buy the best corset on the market.
