Without a doubt the queen of fancy lingerie is Madonna. Her habit of showing off her underwear in public has seen us subjected to every style of fine lingerie possible.
Most of her costumes have been basques, the question we have to ask however is wearing your basque in public tacky? Well of course it is but Madonna is a celebrity so she can get away with it.
Basques are refined pieces of fancy lingerie, mainly used to tempt and delight your man. Whilst they may not be the most comfortable piece of fancy lingerie they will always be the queen when it comes to what they can do for a woman’s body. They present her womanly curves and display her in such a feminine, sophisticated and elegant way.
Madonna has ruined this with her tacky, gold, crotchless basques that get pulled out every time she wants to relive her touring days.
Hopefully now she is getting older Madonna will hang up her basque forever and let it’s reputation return to being the creme de la creme of fancy lingerie.
